We’ve got something for everyone in our rental fleet — whether you’re a couple looking for a cosy campervan getaway or a family needing a roomy motorhome with all the extras. Our vehicles come in all shapes and sizes, so you’ll find the right fit for your adventure. Every rental is fully kitted out with the essentials: comfy beds, a proper kitchen, heating and cooling, and plenty of space to relax — giving you that home-on-wheels feeling wherever you go.
*Our pet friendly vans can accomodate 1 medium size dog or 2 small dogs.
Booking your rental is quick and easy with our online system — or you can just grab a free quote for your chosen dates. Simply pop in your pick-up and drop-off date and time, then hit ‘search’ to see what’s available.
Once you’ve found the perfect motorhome, click ‘select’ to move on to the options page. There, you can add any extras you’d like (like airport transfers or extra drivers). From there, you can book online right away or email the quote to yourself to secure later.
Yes, we do. There is a booking deposit of 25% which is deducted from the total cost of the rental. In the event of cancellation this is non-refundable.
Yes there is a refundable security deposit to be paid by card when collecting the motorhome to cover any damage and is equivalent to the insurance excess. The standard deposit is £1,500.
When collecting your motorhome, the main driver (and any additional drivers) will need to show a full driving licence that they’ve held for at least two years.
UK residents will also need to bring:
A DVLA check code
Two utility bills or bank statements in their name, dated within the last three months
International customers will need to bring:
A valid passport
A utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months
Even if you’ve sent these documents to us in advance, we’ll still need to see the originals when you collect your motorhome. If you can’t provide them on the day, your rental will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
All customers must also bring a valid credit or debit card in the hirer’s name for the security deposit.
You can drive as far as you like in our motorhomes — within the UK. We suggest mapping out your trip ahead of time so you can relax and enjoy all the sights and activities along the way.
Travel insurance isn’t included with your rental, so we recommend arranging your own policy just in case anything unexpected comes up. As the hirer, you’ll be covered as a named driver under our fully comprehensive insurance, and the vehicle itself is insured with the stated excess.
You’ll be responsible for looking after the contents of the motorhome during your hire. Please note that Perthshire Caravans can’t accept responsibility for any personal belongings that are lost, damaged, or left behind in the vehicle.
To keep things simple and stress-free, we recommend taking out holiday or travel insurance to cover your personal items while you’re away.
Motorhome collection is available between 2pm and 4pm on Monday to Friday. This gives our team plenty of time to clean and get everything ready for your trip after the previous hire.
If the motorhome is involved in an accident that causes damage or injury, you must contact the police straight away. You must also let Perthshire Caravans know immediately about any loss, damage, or faults.
Please do not continue using the motorhome until the damage has been assessed and repaired, and the fault confirmed. The vehicle must never be left unattended without making sure it’s safe and secure.
Do not admit guilt or liability at the scene. Instead, gather the names and addresses of everyone involved, including any witnesses.
You’ll be responsible for any overhead damage, no matter how it happens. Tyre-related issues (including punctures) are also your responsibility, and if the ‘fix and go’ kit is used, you’ll be charged for its replacement.
Even for minor accidents, you’ll need to complete an Accident Report Form (found inside the motorhome) and include a simple diagram on the back.
Every motorhome rental comes with a gas cylinder and a set of handy packs to get you started:
Kitchen Pack – pots, frying pan, utensils, cheese grater, corkscrew/bottle opener, and potato peeler
Camping Pack – Levelling ramps, electric hook-up cable, and fresh water hose
Dining Pack – plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and cutlery
Sanitary Pack – toilet sachets and toilet rolls
You’re welcome to bring your own bedding, but for maximum convenience, we can provide a Bedding Pack for £25 per person. Each pack includes a sheet, duvet, duvet cover, pillow and pillowcase.
The pack is available as single or double, depending on your needs and the motorhome’s bed setup.
Towel Packs are also available at checkout for £10 per person.
Yes, we have specific vehicles that are pet friendly due to allergy reasons and you must let us know at the time of booking so we can allocate the correct motorhome. There is a £50 surcharge per pet in our pet friendly vehicles to cover increased cleaning and greater wear and tear.
